When textile printing buyers ask where to buy sodium alginate, the practical problem is often not finding a supplier name. The harder task is preparing an RFQ that allows different suppliers to quote the same requirement.

If the inquiry only says “sodium alginate for textile printing,” quotations may be based on different viscosity grades, test methods, packaging formats, order quantities, and trade terms. The prices may look comparable, but the products and commercial conditions may not be equivalent.

TDS

The Technical Data Sheet should describe the standard product specification, test method, storage guidance, and product application scope.

Buyers should check whether the TDS matches the exact quoted grade rather than a general company brochure.

COA

The Certificate of Analysis should relate to the supplied batch. It helps the buyer compare actual batch data with the agreed specification.

For repeat orders, COA records can support batch-to-batch review.

SDS
